Grape Seed Oil

Grape seed oil(also grapeseed oil) is a vegetable oil pressed from the seeds of various varieties of Vitis vinifera grapes, an abundant by-product of wine making. Grape seed oilis used for: Salad dressings, marinades, deep frying, flavored oils, baking, massage oil, sunburn repair lotion, hair products, body hygiene creams, lip balm and hand creams. Grape seed oil has been used for different diseases such as, varicose veins, spider veins, and severe blood clotting and also helps keep veins and other blood vessels, skin psoriasis and eczema. Grape seed aids in maintaining skin elasticity and often use in many facial creams. Grape seed contain a compound that stabilizes the collagen and elastic in the skin so that their chemical structure is not disrupted. Grape seed oilis reputed to contain plentiful antioxidants, as well as to lower cholesterol levels. Light, thin oil, Grape seed oilleaves a glossy film over the skin when used as carrier oil for essential oils in aromatherapy.
