RO-293 Silicone Spreading & Penetrating Agent (ultra-low foam)
RO-293 agricultural spreading and wetting agent is a non-ionic silicone surfactant with super spreading capabilities. At a concentration of 0.1% (wt.), it can reduce the surface tension of water to 21 mN/m, which lowers the contact angle between the spray solution and the leaf surface, thereby increasing the spray coverage area.
It also promotes the absorption of pesticides through the leaf stomata, allowing the spray to resist being washed away by rain, thereby enhancing its effectiveness.

Application:
1. As a Tank Mix Adjuvant: The recommended dosage is 0.01% to 0.1%, with a pH range of 6 to 8. It is most effective when used within 24 hours.
2.
Incorporation in Pesticide Formulations: Since silicone surfactants can hydrolyze under acidic or alkaline conditions, a slow-release agent can be used to adjust the pH to between 6.5 and 7.5 for optimal performance. The recommended dosage is 0.1% to 10%.
